To avoid disappointment and to ensure your cat receives its preferred accommodation, we strongly recommend booking in advance, particularly if boarding your cat during school and/or Christmas holidays. While we are happy to accept your cat without a booking, please be aware that we are often booked out.

After Hours Pick-up & Drop-off Secure Area If you need to drop-off or pick-up your cat outside of normal office hours (Monday - Saturday 8.30am - 11am), then there is a secure after hours area for you to leave your cat in.
You must let us know the approximate time that you will be arriving so that we can ensure your cat is ready for your arrival.




*All monies owing must be paid PRIOR to your arrival to use the after hours area. Upon payment of your account, you will be emailed a PIN code to unlock the security door.
(After hours area is available 7.00am - 9.00pm, 7 days a week)

To confirm your booking a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to be paid within 48 hours of receiving your confirmation email.

Payment details are included in the confirmation email that you will receive from us. it usually takes one to two days for us to email back to you. If you need to speak with us before then, please call the office on 02 4358 2608.

We accept cheques as well as Bankcard, Mastercard and AmericanExpress (card payments over the phone or in person only).

 

Additional costs for old age cats and cats with high-maintenance needs.

Some cats require a greater than usual amount of care and attention. This is often the case for old age cats who may need constant monitoring, medication and assisted exercise. It can also be the case for cats with bad habits who are constantly spraying and urinating on the walls and over furniture – whose cleaning requirements are almost double that of other cats.

In order to keep prices fair for all visitors there is a small additional surcharge for old age cats as well as ‘high-maintenance’ cats.

If you cat is high-maintenance we will let you know what the additional charges are to cover the costs of extra cleaning. Sometimes owners and the staff of Cat Utopia are not aware that a cat is ‘high-maintenance’ until after they have arrived. If this is the case we will contact you and discuss anything that you may be able to do to alleviate the problems with your cat once back home.

The standard fee for old age cats is $5 per day. This covers the cost of giving oral medication and extra supervision. Some of the rooms (like the Orient Room) have been created especially for old age cats and this fee is included in the daily room rate – please check with staff if you are unsure.
